We were asked to create new Nintendo product that can be carried around
Nintendo focus on household entertainment and enjoyable experience. It’s the innovator of technology as well as the challenger in the gaming industry. What else can Nintendo explore besides games?
How could we incorporate a sharable experience into the new product while let it fit well in people’s lifestyle?
Music is a sharable language. Even a simple rhythm or lyric can resonate with people and bring them together. But sometimes when you try to share a song from YouTube to your friend, the songs don’t always kick off at the same time which is such a bummer. So, what if people can just connect to your own headphone then enjoy the fun?
Bring Nintendo into a lifestyle brand
College students age 23-28 who are always on the go and have their headphone at the bag. They spend a lot of time in a library or sharing content with people when studying in a group together.
Name: Nintendo Ping
Ping = the sound your phone makes when you receive a message & the ping of connection
You can connect to your phone and the headphone itself acts like a Bluetooth device so another headphone can connect to it.
Durable and Foldable
It can be easily carried around.
The feature of connection will come through in the light around the headphone ears so people can see when you want to connect with them.
Nintendo ping App
It’s accompanied by an app where you can see people within your Bluetooth range to connect with them as well as other outside connections that you can see what they’re listening to.
